LMIDynavision Premieres L1 3-D Scanner Delta, BC -- LMIDynavision today announced that their L1 3-D Log Scanner has now been shipped into the marketplace.

"It has taken some time to get this product ready for the market," said LMIDynavision President Barry Dashner, "but we believe that it will have been worth the wait." This log scanner is designed for both easy start-up and extremely high resolution profiling. Utilizing visible lasers, it is capable of generating profiles inch along the log.

"Digital technology means that you can get excellent images without the need for complex shrouding to block out ambient mill lighting," explained Dashner. "The heads are also extremely durable, and require no field calibration." Dashner also pointed out that users can simply combine two or more heads to provide a full 3-D image of the log.

"The L1 exceeds all existing scanner technology on today's market an delivers the reliability that you have come to expect from LMIDynavision," said Gordon Porter, LMIDynavision's Marketing Manager.
